We are looking for a highly motived PhD student to carry out a research project jointly supervised between the groups of Dr. David Mecerreyes at POLYMAT (www.polymat.eu) and Dr. Sergio E. Moya at CIC biomaGUNE (www.cicbiomagune.es), both located in San Sebastian, Spain. The aim of the project is to develop electroactive and responsive hydrogels for biomedical applications, mainly for drug delivery. The PhD student will work on the synthesis and physicochemical characterization of the hydrogels, and also perform cell culture studies to study intracellular delivery.
